Kuala Lumpur City made history in the AFC Cup football competition by thrashing Indonesia's PSM Makassar 5-2 in the Asean Zone final at the KLFA Stadium.
KL City scored through Romel Morales (33rd minute), Jordan Mintah (47th), skipper Paulo Josue (51st minute penalty and 85th) and Hadin Azman (93th penalty).
The Indonesian club replied through Yakob Sayuri (58th) and Akbar Tanjung (62nd).
What made their win sweeter was that they did it in front of 2,905 supporters at the Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium in Cheras.
