About the Author
The admin and author of this site is a track and field athlete-coach-statistician, strength & conditioning instructor, and lecturer. He studied physical education (BEd) and sports science (MS) at Universiti Putra Malaysia, and a PhD is the next stop of course. His main interest encompasses anything related to the strength & conditioning, yet relative to others, he has a deep interest on training methodology, but the scope is no way restricted to 'NSCA syllabus' as he investigates all other methods including the Russians 'conjugate sequence system'. He is the official statistician for the Malaysia Athletic Federation, and a member of the Association of Track & Field Statisticians (ATFS), as well as the Association of Road Racing Statisticians (ARRS). He has been lecturing in sports-related subjects for several years.
The author is also the compiler-cum-editor of the "Southeast Asian Athletics Annuals" (comprehensive statistics book that includes the annual and all-time lists, records, athlete profiles, and others). His statistical works have been included/cited in many sports websites, local and foreign newspapers, as well as reports by various organisations (including the Asian Athletics Association).
